Rocking Horses

My Miniature rocking horses are original designs I have created. Each rocking horse has a unique stance.  Each rocking horse is made from basswood and hand carved with many additional hours of sanding. Once the horse has been shaped I then put a minimum of two coats of primer on it before I start painting it.  When I have finished painting and detailing the rocking horse it then receives two coats of non-yellowing varnish.  From there it is carefully placed on a rocker and balanced.   Each horse is then signed and dated.  Scale 1:12.
